Businessman, Akwasi Addai Odike on Monday, March 24, 2025, asserted that, Ghana has now transformed into a xenophobic country where outsiders come to seize control.

In an interview with Saddick Adams on the Angel Morning Show (AMS), Odike said that the recent and continuous devastation of Ghana’s waterways and forest reserves is concerning because it shows that foreigners, who are known to be insurgents with dangerous weapons, are trying to seize control of the nation.

“Ghana has turned into a xenophobic nation”, according to Odike, with foreigners now taking over the nation.

The Union Government Founder states that Galamsey has not only devastated Ghana’s forests and water resources but has also tainted healthy crops, causing individuals to sell harmful food products to others, leading to various health issues.

“Galamsey has not only destroyed Ghana’s forest and water reserves but has also contaminated good crops, whereby people sell toxic food items to their fellow which as a result lead to numerous healthcare conditions”, Odike noted.

Odike asserted that, “foreigners will invade into the nation in their numbers to besiege the country in five years to come”. In addition to that, he claims this will serve as a pathway for Boko Haram groups to invade into the country since these politicians who are responsible to put a halt to these practices are rather encouraging them.
