Ghanaian rap legend and pioneer of hip life, Reggie Rockstone, has urged artistes in the Ghana music industry to strive for excellence.
In a statement, Reggie Rockstone expressed his concerns about the current state of Ghana’s music industry, citing Nigeria’s rapid progress as a measure for improvement.
“We can do better in the Ghana music industry, Nigeria is moving forward, and it’s impressive. They were once learning from us, but now they’ve outgrown us in many areas,” he emphasized.
He further urged the industry players to focus on developing the Ghanaian music industry, rather than dwelling on past glories.
“Let’s concentrate on making things better. We have the talent, the creativity, and the passion. It’s time to take our industry to the next level,”he stated.
