The Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang will fly out of the country for medical treatment.
According to Presidential Spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang initially received care from doctors at the University of Ghana Medical Centre on Friday, March 28, 2025, after she took ill suddenly after work same day.
“Based on expert medical opinion, she will be seeking further care abroad,” the statement said Sunday.
