Former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has questioned how the country is being governed by President John Dramani Mahama under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.
Mr. Agyapong, in his rhetoric, expressed his disappointment in the Mahama administration regarding the way and manner the country is being run.
According to the outspoken politician, the NDC, while seeking power, promised Ghanaians “heaven” when voted for.
However, what they have exhibited so far in their three months in power shows otherwise.
“They promised you heaven… but is this the heaven we’re seeing in just these first three months? Look around, this is only the beginning. Can you imagine what four years of this will bring?” he questioned in a post on his X page following an engagement with TESCON members.

He acknowledged the opposite of the “heaven” the NDC promised and urged members of the NPP to use the happenings under the current administration to fortify themselves and bounce back stronger.
“But what’s done is done. Let us brace ourselves, draw strength from these trials, and rise above them,” the post stressed.
The businessman charged the TESCON members to lead the NPP campaign and preach the party’s success story to the general public in a bid to recapture power in the next election in 2028.
“To TESCON, I say this: Lead the charge. Take the message of the NPP from house to house. Speak to every soul you meet. Tell them the truth. Tell them our story. And with your efforts, I have no doubt, we shall return.”
Kennedy Agyapong’s engagement with the TESCON members was themed “Rebuilding for Victory – Empowering TESCON for a Stronger Future.”
