The Strong Woman Changemaker Africa (SWOCA) and its Ghana chapter, CSWA Ghana, have launched a national digital campaign aimed at amplifying the voices of women and girls across the country.

The campaign seeks to promote equity, empowerment, and inclusion by highlighting untold stories and connecting changemakers across regions.

Speaking on the initiative, Lamisi Adene, President of SWOCA and CSWA Ghana, emphasized that the campaign is part of a broader Pan-African movement dedicated to reshaping narratives and building sustainable impact led by women at both the grassroots and policy levels.

“In Ghana, our focus is on leveraging digital tools to promote transformative leadership, increase visibility for local initiatives, foster collaboration, and advocate for policies that prioritize women’s rights, education, health, and economic inclusion.”

Additionally, the campaign addresses the persistent digital divide that unfairly affects women, particularly in rural and underserved areas, where many remain digitally excluded and unable to access essential information, platforms, and resources necessary for advocacy and sustainable livelihoods which not only limits women’s voices but also silences the powerful stories and solutions they bring to the table.

Through the initiative, CSWA Ghana is spotlighting the real-life experiences and initiatives of Ghanaian women, aiming to humanize data and drive emotional engagement that influences public opinion and policymaking. The campaign also involves raising awareness on critical issues such as gender-based violence, maternal health, education, and economic empowerment through curated content, online campaigns, and live virtual events.

Also, CSWA Ghana is building digital bridges that connect changemakers, community leaders, and institutions to create a unified voice for inclusive policies and programs. The digital platforms also serve as hubs for mentorship and capacity-building activities, particularly targeting young women and girls by equipping them with digital skills and leadership tools.
