Shatta Wale has set the records straight about his relationship with fellow artiste Stonebwoy.
In a recent TikTok live, Shatta Wale revealed that he and Stonebwoy are neighbors, living just a 30-second drive away from each other.
According to Shatta Wale, the media have been responsible for perpetuating the narrative of a quarrel between them.
“It’s the media that have put that thing in your mind, and Stonebwoy himself doesn’t like it,” he claimed.
He likened the situation to the relationship between Ghana’s two major political parties, the NPP and NDC, saying that despite their apparent differences, they often work together behind the scenes. He believes that the music industry operates in a similar way, with the media often painting a different picture to generate reactions.
“If we say NPP and NDC the things going on right now and later you’ll see them together counting money you’ll be pissed, but it’s music business and the media will come and paint it something different for the media to react,” he added.
Also, he assured fans that there is no animosity between him and Stonebwoy, saying,
“There will be a time to come, and everyone will realize we have nothing bad against each other,” he concluded.
