The Deputy National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Godwin Ako Gunn emphasized that Ghanaians will walk the journey with the NDC if the party engages in clear and effective communication.

Speaking during a panel discussion with Saddick Adams on the Angel Morning Show on Monday, April 28, 2025, he highlighted the importance of transparency regarding any challenges that might prevent the NDC from fulfilling its promises. He stressed the need to inform the Ghanaian populace about the difficulties they might face and the reasons behind any delays in delivering on commitments.

Mr. Gunn stated, “As a political party, we need to evaluate the promises we have made and determine our path forward. Are we on track or off track? If we can assess this honestly, we will not be swayed by the internal conflicts within the New Patriotic Party (NPP). We will still retain power,” he asserted.

He cautioned that, if the NDC losses focus because they are happy about the NPP’s internal issues, they might be misled.

He added that, “We must concentrate on our party’s objectives and ensure we are delivering on every promise we made to Ghanaians,” he said.
