Ghanaian gospel artiste Lord Kenya has described music awards as meaningless, stating that there is no real achievement in winning them.
In a recent interview, he shared his perspective, revealing that awards no longer hold any significance for him. Instead, his priority has shifted entirely to his Christian mission.
“For now, I’m not interested in awards. What I want to achieve is winning souls for Christ,” he said.
Lord Kenya further stated that awards are ultimately fleeting. “All these award winnings are vanity; they will all pass away,” he added.
He also disclosed that he places little value on the trophies he received in the past, joking that they have become mere toys for his child.
“All the awards I’ve won, my son plays football with them because I don’t use them for anything,” he remarked.
