Iran Clinic partners Ghana Red Cross Society to observe Red Crescent Day at Adentan

Iran Clinic, in collaboration with the Ghana Red Cross Society (GRCS), has organised free medical services in celebration of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day (WRCD) in the Frafraha community at Adentan in the Greater Accra Region.

The event which took place on Thursday, May 8, 2025, under the theme, “Protect Humanitarians: They Are On The Side of Humanity,” aimed at supporting the residents of the Frafraha community.

The Medical Director of Iran Clinic, Dr. Shahab Abdolahifar, stated that the primary objective of the programme was to promote humanitarian values.

According to him, their main motive for providing this free health service was to render essential medical assistance to the residents of Frafraha and its surrounding areas.

Dr. Abdolahifar noted that they offered free consultations and delivery services, as well as medications to the people in the community.

“In this connection, we render free medical services to the people and provide them with medication. If there’s a need for a referral, we take you to our facility. At the clinic, we also offer free consultations and ensure that those who deliver receive free medications,” he stated.

He explained that neutrality signifies their non-affiliation with any political party, thereby qualifying them to serve all individuals in need.

Dr. Abdolahifar urged the residents of the Frafraha community to adopt healthy eating habits and engage in regular exercise to maintain their health and prevent communicable diseases, ultimately leading to a healthier life.
