Ghanaian actor, Kwaku Manu, is calling on concerned authorities to be decisive on individuals engaged in cyberbullying and defamation.
His plea comes after Gyakie shared her experience of reading hateful comments on her social media posts.
In a recent post, Kwaku Manu expressed concern over the rising trend of people freely insulting others online, particularly those in positions of authority.
“The president should bring a law to stop people from insulting those in higher authority,” he pleaded.
“These days, people do whatever they want. Someone can just pick up a phone and insult anyone anyhow, which is not right,” he uttered.
He further emphasized the need for punishment for perpetrators, suggesting that offenders should be arrested or face consequences.
