The Ministry of Health has reacted to the revocation of the appointment of Anne Sansa Daly onto the Board of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).
The sector clarified that Ms Daly was never sworn into office in the first place.
This was contained in a press release issued on May 27, 2025, by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, Tony Goodman.
“It is important to clarify that Ms. Daly was not sworn in on the 27th of May 2025, during the swearing-in ceremony held at the Ministry of Health,” the statement said.
The Ministry also presented the following facts as follows:
– A letter appointing Ms. Anne Sansa Daly, along with other members of the Board, was issued on 19th May 2025.
– Subsequently, a letter dated 23rd May 2025 was issued by the appropriate authority.
– This second letter revoked her appointment and appointed her replacement, It added.
The ministry assures the public of its commitment to transparency and due process in all matters relating to public appointments.
