Former Chairman of the National Democratic Congress in the Greater Accra Region, Joseph Ade-Coker, has passed on.
Mr. Ade-Coker according to multiple sources, died Saturday May 31, 2025 at the Bank Hospital, Accra.
He had been battling an undisclosed ailment which took him off public engagements for a couple of weeks before he finally succumbed to it on that fateful day.
Fondly called ‘Chairman Emeritus’, Ade-Coker was a regular guest on the Morning Show on Angel TV and Angel 102.9 FM on Thursdays representing the governing NDC to discuss varied issues of national concern.
He was elected as the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC in 2009, a position he held until 2022, when he lost his re-election bid to Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, the current chairman.
