Former NDC Chair Ade-Coker dies

Former Chairman of the National Democratic Congress in the Greater Accra Region, Joseph Ade-Coker, has passed on.

Mr. Ade-Coker according to multiple sources, died Saturday May 31, 2025 at the Bank Hospital, Accra.

He had been battling an undisclosed ailment which took him off public engagements for a couple of weeks before he finally succumbed to it on that fateful day.Ade-Coker

Fondly called ‘Chairman Emeritus’, Ade-Coker was a regular guest on the Morning Show on Angel TV and Angel 102.9 FM on Thursdays representing the governing NDC to discuss varied issues of national concern.Ade-Coker

He was elected as the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC in 2009, a position he held until 2022, when he lost his re-election bid to Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, the current chairman.
