The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority and Ghana Airports Company Limited have extended operational hours at Kumasi’s Prempeh I International Airport and Tamale International Airport, effective June 1, 2025.

Kumasi Airport will now operate until 11:00 p.m, while Tamale Airport will operate until 10:00 p.m.

The authorities have notified airlines of the changes and encouraged them to increase flight frequencies.

This, according to a notice is aimed to enhance air travel convenience and connectivity in Ghana, particularly in the Northern and Ashanti regions.

This was contained in statement while serving notice to travellers who go by airline.
