Former Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, together with his spouse Hajia Samira Bawumia, have extended their heartfelt wishes to Muslims in Ghana and across the world as they celebrate Eid al-Adha.

The message was delivered in a statement dated Friday, June 6, 2025.

The couple acknowledged the deep spiritual significance of the occasion and emphasized the need for continued devotion, sacrifice, and gratitude to Allah.

“May the Almighty Allah accept our sacrifices, prayers and extend His infinite blessings upon our loved ones and dear nation Ghana,” the statement read.

Dr. Bawumia’s message resonated with Muslims who observe Eid al-Adha as a time of spiritual renewal and communal unity.

The former Vice President used the opportunity to highlight the importance of seeking divine favor for the country, especially during such holy occasions.
