As part of efforts to strengthen Accra Hearts of Oak squad for the 2025/26 football season, the Board have announced the formation of a Recruitment Committee with members drawn from the Board, Management and Technical team.

According to a club statement, the committee has initiated a comprehensive evaluation process that includes assessing current performances and identifying potential recruits in line with the technical team’s guidance.

The club said, emphasis is placed on acquiring players with proven premiership experience who align with the tactical vision of the club.

“The recruitment strategy is driven by data analytics, focusing on enhancing key areas within the team. Discussions with the clubs of some of the identified players are going very well.

“Concurrently, we are evaluating the roles of current players to ensure alignment with the club’s long-term objectives. Some of the current players who do not make the cut, will be let go,” the statement issued Tuesday, June 17, 2025, highlighted.

The statement signed by management expressed its dedication to building a competitive team that supports the club’s ambitions and assured the rainbow fraternity of regular updates on their transfer acquisitions.

“We sincerely appreciate the steadfast support and patience of the Phobia faithful and eagerly anticipate an exciting season ahead.”
