The Eastern Regional Co-ordinating Council (ERCC) has announced a change of venue for the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving scheduled for Tuesday, 1st July 2025.

The event, which was originally set to take place at Jackson Park in Koforidua, will now be held at the Center for National Culture in the same city.

According to the ERCC, the date and time of the event remain unchanged, with proceedings expected to commence promptly at 8:30 a.m. on the scheduled day.

The theme for this year’s national observance is “Reflect, Reset and Renewal for National Prosperity,” reflecting a call for spiritual rededication and national unity.

The ERCC confirmed the change of venue in a statement issued on Saturday, 28th June 2025.

“The Eastern Region will now host its National Day of Prayer & Thanksgiving at the Center for National Culture, Koforidua, following a change from the previously announced venue, Jackson Park,” the ERCC said.

The Council encouraged all citizens to attend and participate in the event.
