Rapper, Fameye has shed light on his recent collaboration with dancehall heavyweight, Stonebwoy, titled “Now or Never”.
According to Fameye, the song was recorded three years ago but only recently released on July 17, 2025.
Speaking Tuesday, July 22, 2025, on the ‘Yɛ dwuma nie’ midmorning show hosted by Ohemaa Woyeje, Fameye explained that the delay in releasing the song was due to his team’s reservations.
“The song has been an issue for the team until recently when everybody agreed that we should release it. That means it is a good time to release it,” Fameye stated.
He attributed the song’s delayed release to the ever changing nature of music production, where artists often move on to new projects.
Fameye praised Stonebwoy’s energy on the track, saying it was solid, and he simply had to connect and move with it.
He further revealed that he has a stash of unreleased songs, which he sometimes wishes to drop every two weeks.
However, he noted that some tracks might never see the light of day due to his growth as an artist or changes in his sound.
“I have lot of songs on my archive which I sometimes wishes to release it every two weeks but some of them might never be released because I have grown beyond that or my delivery now will be much better than then,” he explained
