Prominent Ghanaian preacher and founder of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha, has sparked debate with his recent comments about relationships and financial investment.

In an interview, the outspoken man of God stated that he sees no reason to financially invest in a woman he is not married to.

According to him, such an investment is unwise and unprofitable.

“I will never invest in a woman I’m not married to. I’d rather invest in my pig farming business and gain more profit,” he asserted.

Prophet Kumchacha went on citing an example as in modern day romantic relationships and politics, where loyalty is often short lived and dependent on material benefits.

“I can give my girlfriend a phone today, and the next day she meets another man who buys her a car then she leaves me for him. That’s how relationships without marriage are these days,” he explained.

He wrapped up his statement by emphasizing that, in his view, investing in a woman outside the commitment of marriage is something he’s not prepared to take.
