Ghana Post has officially inaugurated a new Governing Board to steer the company toward innovation, efficiency, and service excellence.

The inauguration ceremony was conducted by the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, on Monday, August 4, 2025.

The newly constituted board comprises distinguished professionals, including Ms. Petra Aba Asamoah, Chairperson; Ms. Rita Sraha, Managing Director; Mr. Alexander Yaw Arphul, Member; Mr. Jerry John Kofi Asiedu, Member; Dr. Samuel Ayeh, Member; Mr. Edward Perry Nelson, Member; and Ms. Susanna Asaabea Nyampong, Member.

During the ceremony, the minister, Samuel Nartey George charged the board with the responsibility of driving Ghana Post’s transformation into a modern postal, logistics, courier, and financial services provider.

This vision, he emphasized, aligns with the Government’s 24-Hour Economy agenda.

The inauguration, according to the minister signals a “new chapter for Ghana Post as we embrace innovation, efficiency and service excellent” aimed at strengthening its role in national development.
