Highlife musician, Kwabena Kwabena, has paid glowing tribute to the late Daddy Lumba, during the one week observation of the legendary artiste.
Reflecting on their personal bond, Kwabena Kwabena recalled the warmth and kindness Daddy Lumba showed him whenever he visited.
“Lots of memories. I always cherish the moments I spent in his house anytime I visited and how warm he was in terms of reception,” he shared.
When asked if he intended to compose a tribute song for the late icon, he explained that Daddy Lumba’s extensive catalog of music already stands as a lasting legacy.
“Papa has too many songs he did for himself, so I just would want to feed on the beautiful songs he created. In terms of tribute, he has quite a number of records which we can all enjoy, so I haven’t thought of a tribute song,” he noted.
Concluding his message, Kwabena Kwabena extended heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
“My deepest condolences to the family, his wife, kids and all loved ones. I pray in times like this, in times of difficulties, the good Lord will handle them,” he added.
