Handlers of Ghana’s Senior National Team, the Black Stars, have extended a late call-up to Spain-based Kwasi Sibo.
According to reports, the midfielder’s invitation comes after the Stars drew 1-1 with Chad in Thursday’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Real Oviedo confirms that their star midfielder received the late call-up ahead of the country’s fixture against Mali.
“Called up to Ghana National Team. Go all out Sibo,” the Spanish side confirmed in a post on their socials.
Sibo gained national recognition after he played an instrumental role in helping his side secure promotion to the Spanish La Liga.
He is expected to join his teammates in camp for the team’s crucial home fixture on Monday, September 8, 2025.
