One person has been hospitalized after an accident involving three vehicles on Atafoa highway in the Bantama Constituency of Ashanti Region.
The accident involved a Sprinter with registration number CR 1466-22, a taxi with registration number AS 5533-19, and a Lancer with registration number GT 8233.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in the morning.
Reports indicate that the Lancer, carrying three persons, a woman and two children heading to church at Barekese collided head-on with the taxi at high speed and then crashed into the Sprinter.
The impact reportedly caused the Lancer to catch fire and burnt.
The woman in the Lancer sustained injuries and was rushed to the County Hospital in the area for treatment and further assessment.
