The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Namibian officials to oversee the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) 2026 qualifier between Ghana and Egypt.
The Black Queens will host their Egyptian counterparts this afternoon at 3:30 PM at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ghana heads into the second leg with a commanding 3-0 advantage, having secured a resounding victory in Cairo during the first encounter.
Namibian referee Antsino Ndemugwanitha Twanyanyukwa will take charge of the match. She will be supported by Zambian assistants Diana Chikotesha and Nancy Kasitu, serving as Assistant Referee 1 and 2, respectively.
Completing the all-female officiating team is Nuusiku Vistoria Shangula, also from Namibia, who will serve as the Fourth Official.
The Match Commissioner for the fixture is Chisom Adaobi Ezeoke of Nigeria, while Tesfanesh Woreta Haitu from Ethiopia has been appointed as the Referee Assessor.
Ghana will look to capitalize on home advantage and seal qualification for next year’s continental tournament in Morocco.
