Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia continues his campaign for the New Patriotic Party’s presidential primaries on January 31, 2026.

The tour commences on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in the Western Region.

Dr. Bawumia has been on the road for the past two months, holding a series of stakeholder engagements across various regions.

In the latest phase of his campaign, which is constituency-based, Dr. Bawumia has toured all constituencies in the Bono, Bono East, Ahafo, and Western North Regions over the past four weeks.

He is expected to visit all 18 constituencies in the Western Region, engaging with party stakeholders.

On the opening day of his Western Regional tour, Dr. Bawumia will visit three constituencies: Amenfi West, Amenfi East, and Amenfi Central.

Dr. Bawumia has been receiving significant support from delegates as he shares his message focused on institutionalising the welfare of party members and building a stronger party capable of reclaiming power to serve Ghana better.
