A 33-year-old married woman, Hagar Akua Kubuu, was found dead on her farm in Yawwusukrom, located in the Dormaa West District of the Bono Region.
The Assembly member for the area, Adama Aziz, explained that the husband of the deceased, Elder Kumbur Bright, reported her missing after she failed to return home from the farm.
According to the Assemblyman, the circumstances surrounding Hagar’s death are still unclear; however, reports suggest she may have been a victim of foul play.
Her body was later discovered on the farm along with her farming implements.
Upon receiving the report, the police, led by DSP Prince Asante Debra, the Nkrankwanta District Police Commander, retrieved the remains and deposited them at the Presbyterian Hospital Mortuary in Dormaa Ahenkro for preservation, pending an autopsy.
