Minister for Communication and Digital Innovation, Samuel Nartey George, has assured residents of Fanteakwa North in the Eastern Region that efforts are underway to provide them with network access.
The assurance follows a recent documentary “Angel Focus” hosted by Eugene Osei Berimah, and aired on Angel TV, highlighting the challenges faced by communities in Fanteakwa North due to lack of network coverage, hindering digital communication.

The affected towns include Apaah, Obuoho, Domenase, Dua Police, and Aboso.
According to Mr. Nartey, the government is making progress in addressing these issues.
He stated that the construction of the network for Obuoho and Dua Police “has been completed and work is ongoing to get them integrated and operationalized.”
Regarding Apaah, Domenase, and Aboso, the Minister noted that “the sites are yet to be captured,” implying that work is yet to begin on these locations.

Sam George’s assurance has brought hope to residents of these communities, who have long struggled with poor network connectivity.
