At least eighteen Black Stars players are currently in camp at the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nagoya ahead of their international friendlies against Japan and the Korea Republic.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) confirmed this following the arrival of sixteen new players at the camp.

The GFA said, “Sixteen of them arrived on Tuesday to join two home-based players, Kelvin Nkrumah and Prince Owusu, who departed Accra on Sunday.”

The players in camp include Joseph Anang, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Derrick Kohn, Jerome Opoku, Ebenezer Annan, Jonas Adjetey, Kojo Oppong Peprah, Caleb Yirenkyi, Alidu Seidu, and Gideon Mensah.

The rest are Abu Francis, Kwasi Sibo, Prince Owusu, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Antoine Semenyo, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Kelvin Nkrumah, and Prince Adu Kwabena.

Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, who was in goal for his side in the Super Clash against Asante Kotoko on Sunday, is expected to join the squad on Wednesday.

In an update by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), players such as Christopher Bonsu Baah, Prince Osei Owusu, and Mohammed Salisu are also expected to arrive on Wednesday, November 12.

The Black Stars will hold their first training session in Nagoya later on Wednesday, November 12.

They will play Japan in the Kirin Cup on Friday, November 14, before later facing the Korea Republic on Tuesday, November 18.
