The High Court, Human Rights Division, has revised the bail conditions for the former Chief Executive Officer of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST), Edwin Provencal, lowering the amount from GH¢60,000 to GH¢30,000 following his appeal to the court.

Edwin Provencal was arrested by the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) at Kotoka International Airport (KIA) while attempting to board a flight out of the country. He was initially granted bail at GH¢60,000 with two sureties to be justified and was also placed on a stop list as part of ongoing investigations into activities during his tenure at BOST.

Provencal was reportedly apprehended on Monday, November 10, while en route to Maputo, Mozambique, without the necessary authorisation.

The Economic and Organised Crime Office is yet to conclude its investigations and formally charge him in court.
