YEA facilitates 25 youth to UAE to work under Work Abroad Programme

The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has successfully facilitated the departure of 25 Ghanaian youth to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to work as professional drivers, marking the second cohort under the agency’s Work Abroad Programme.

According to a statement posted on the agency’s Facebook page on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, the beneficiaries completed rigorous pre-departure orientation and necessary processes in partnership with the Ghana Labour Department (GLP).

The YEA, led by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Malik Basintale, emphasized that the selected individuals are fully prepared for safe and dignified employment abroad.
