Controversial Ghanaian media personality, Sally Mann, has strongly criticized women who allow themselves to be deceived by married men who speak negatively about their wives.
Speaking on ‘Y’adwumanie’ with Ohemaa Woyeje on Angel 102.9 FM on Thursday, November 27, 2025, she addressed the ongoing controversy involving highlife legend Daddy Lumba.
Sally Mann claimed that Lumba was attempting to “eat his cake and have it, describing him as a man skilled at manipulating and playing both women involved.
“Lumba just wanted to eat his cake and have it. He’s a manipulative man who knows how to play both women well,” she asserted.
Commenting on Odo Broni’s involvement, she argued that the lady should have stepped aside the moment it became clear there was no evidence of a divorce between Lumba and his wife, Akosua Serwaa.
“As soon as Odo Broni realized there was no proof that Lumba was divorced from Akosua Serwaa, she shouldn’t have allowed the issue to reach court. She should have resolved matters with Akosua Serwaa to ensure peace,” she said.
Sally Mann further criticized women who trust the stories married men tell to justify their actions. She said it is unwise for any woman to believe she can replace a man’s wife based solely on his complaints.
“Any woman whom a married man spoils or paints his wife bad to, and you believe him and think you can replace his wife, you are not being wise,” she stressed.
She added that many of these men still keep photos and reminders of their wives, showing they are not truly separated despite their claims.
“What annoys me is that after saying all these things, his wife’s pictures are still in his room,” she noted.
