Hearts of Oak assistant coach Abdul Gazale has suggested that goalkeeper Benjamin Asare may be reinstated into the starting lineup as the club prepares to face Aduana FC on Sunday, December 21, 2025.

The Phobians are scheduled to play the two-time Ghana Premier League winners at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in a Matchday 15 fixture.

However, Asare, who has been out of action for several weeks due to injury, resumed training earlier this week and is now being considered for selection.

Ahead of the clash, Mr. Gazale noted that the final call will be made after discussions with the technical team and the goalkeeping coach.

“We are looking at how we are going to put our squad together, including Benjamin Asare. If it is necessary for the goalkeeper’s trainer to add Asare, then why not?”

He further stressed that the team will proceed cautiously if the skipper is not deemed fully fit.
