Former Subin Constituency Member of Parliament (MP), Eugene Boakye Antwi, has appealed to aspirants, supporters, and members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to uphold decorum as the party prepares for its flagbearer elections.

The NPP is scheduled to hold its polls on Saturday, January 31, to select a flagbearer for the 2028 general elections.

In a video message addressed to the party’s grassroots, Mr. Boakye Antwi, encouraged aspirants and their supporters to run campaigns free from insults, insinuations, and divisive rhetoric.

“I want to respectfully urge all aspirants, delegates and supporters to conduct ourselves in decency, decorum, discipline and due respect.

In the coming days, it should be a campaign on ideas, vision, records, not insults, insinuations or divisions. Our strength as a party has always been competing vigorously yet emerging united,” he said.

He emphasized that unity is not a matter of choice but a crucial requirement for electoral success.

Mr. Antwi who is also vying for the position of General Secretary expressed that the ideology of the NPP remains attractive to Ghanaians.
