Ghana Premier League (GPL) giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko will rekindle their long-standing rivalry with fellow top-flight side Aduana Stars in the Round of 16 fixtures of the 2025/26 MTN FA Cup.

The two sides were paired following the draw held at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Secretariat on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

Defending champions Asante Kotoko cruised to this stage of the competition after easing past King Faisal and Future Stars in the previous rounds.

In other thrilling fixtures, league leaders Medeama SC will face FC Samartex 1996, while 2023 champions Dreams FC take on 2014 finalists Inter Allies FC in another pulsating encounter.

Elsewhere, Berekum Chelsea will face Division One League Zone One A leaders Tamale City with Nations FC and Swedru All Blacks will lock horns in an all-Premier League affair at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese.

Struggling Premier League outfit Eleven Wonders have a date with last season’s semi-finalists Attram De Visser, while second-tier side True Life FC takes on Kpando Heart of Lions.

Techiman Liberty Youth will come face-to-face with Real Tamale United (RTU) in another epic clash.
