Presidential aspirant for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has declared that he would introduce a database welfare system to eliminate what he described as ‘Adidigya.’

During a campaign tour in the Ashanti region on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, he emphasized the need for new policies to benefit all party stakeholders while strengthening the constituency.

“I want to implement policies that will support all our party executives and members,” he stated in a video posted on his socials.

Dr. Bawumia explained that the database will ensure that all party executives and members are accounted for, helping to identify their needs.

“We will create a database that will track all our executives and members, allowing us to understand what they require,” he said.

He added that, the database is also designed to streamline opportunities for party members who are seeking various jobs.

“We will know who is looking for jobs, who needs loans, who requires tractors, and who is seeking scholarships,” he elaborated.

He noted that party executives and members will no longer need to apply for jobs online; instead, the opportunities will be delivered directly to them.

“If jobs are available, we will no longer ask our party executives and members to go online to apply. We will bring the jobs to you, working directly with the database,” he stated.

According to the former Vice President, this system will prevent any misuse of opportunities.

“Once we are utilizing the database, no one in the party will be able to sell slots to outsiders.”
