NPP presidential race: We’d wish Kennedy Agyapong go unopposed – Spokesperson

A New Patriotic Party (NPP) Branch Secretary, and a member of Team Kennedy Agyapong in Belgium, Seth D. Oduro has asserted that Presidential hopeful Kennedy Ohene Agyapong represent a viable solution to Ghana’s joblessness challenge.

He said the country need a leader in the NPP flagbearer hopeful for practical interventions to curb unemployment and create sustainable opportunities.

Speaking on the Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ show on Thursday, January 29, 2026, he highlighted that Mr. Agyapong’s belief in Ghana’s potential mirrors that of Nana Addo, who championed the Free Senior High School (SHS) initiative that positively impacted the nation.

“We need a primal leader who can spearhead the affairs of this country and change the status quo,” he asserted and expressed confidence in the latter’s capabilities, emphasizing that his track record supports his belief.

He further affirmed that the voiceferous business mogul is one who can transform the country’s situation by embracing Asian economic principles.

“We can not do the same thing and expect new results; we need to change. I believe Kennedy Agyapong and his track record also speaks for that,” he confidently told Ohemaa Sakyiwa on Angel TV.

Mr. Oduro also pointed out the presidential aspirant’s extensive experience in both Europe and America, noting that his business-minded mentality, which has proven successful in his personal life, speaks for him as a good leader Ghanaians can rely on for job creation when given the mandate to lead the country.
