NDC can burn the sea; Supreme Court won’t change Kpandai results – Isaq Ibrahim

Member of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Legal Directorate, Ishaq Ibrahim Esq, has slammed the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), saying they can burn the sea; the Supreme Court will not change its decision over the Kpandai election.

NPP’s Ishaq Ibrahim Esq asserts the Supreme Court’s Kpandai election decision is final, despite NDC’s protests. He criticized the NDC for putting undue pressure on an individual handling the Supreme Court’s Kpandai case review application.

Speaking on GHOne TV’s GHToday, monitored by Angel Broadcasting Network on Tuesday, February 4th, 2026, Mr. Ibrahim stated that the continuous pressure being mounted by the NDC over the matter makes no sense, stressing that the Supreme Court will not change its decision based on political agitation.

According to him, the judiciary remains independent, and any attempts made to influence its rulings through public pressure or political commentary are futile and inappropriate.

Mr. Ibrahim further reiterated that the persistent pressure on the individual pursuing the review could have serious health implications, noting that such stress could expose the person to conditions such as high blood pressure.

He therefore urged the NDC to exercise restraint and allow due process to take its course, rather than escalating tensions around the case.

“I urge the NDC to chill and allow the legal process to work regardless of any noise,” Isaq Ibrahim Esq disclosed.”
