The Ministry of the Interior has officially released guidelines for the upcoming Centralized Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP) 2025/26 Aptitude and Trade Tests.

The exercise covers applicants to the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Immigration Service.

According to a public notice, the aptitude tests will be conducted online between Tuesday, February 10 and Sunday, February 22, 2026, with applicants grouped into three categories based on their qualifications.

The categories are as follows:

  • Category A: NVTI, JHS, Sportsmen, and Certificate holders (Feb 10–13)
  • Category B: HND, Degree, and Masters holders (Feb 14–17)
  • Category C: WASSCE applicants (Feb 18–22)

The notice explained that Category A applicants will answer 30 questions and also undergo a trade test relevant to their chosen vacancies, while Categories B and C will each answer 60 questions.

“The pass mark for the test is 65%,” the Interior Ministry announced.

The Ministry reminded applicants that the exams will be conducted under enhanced AI proctoring systems to ensure integrity.

Applicants must use computers equipped with webcams and microphones, and will undergo an enrollment stage to verify identity, internet strength, and environmental noise levels before starting the test.

Random snapshots and session recordings will also be deployed to detect malpractice, it stated.

The Ministry urged applicants to remain within the proctoring frame throughout the session, with a warning that any attempt to impersonate or delegate the test would result in sanctions.

It further encouraged all candidates to prepare adequately and comply with the technical requirements to ensure a smooth process.
