Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has called on African nations to align domestic reforms with Pan-African objectives.
He emphasized that the continent’s integration depends on collective willingness.
Speaking at the Investing in Africa Mining Indaba 2026, Mr. Armah-Kofi Buah stressed that Africa stands on the threshold of true integration, but success hinges on aligning national reforms with continental goals, building robust institutions, and fostering transparency to earn investor confidence and citizen trust.
He cited Ghana’s experience as a model of effective governance, saying, “Integration is a marathon, not a sprint. Ghana’s journey proves that through good governance, a structured framework, and resilience, we can move from aspiration to achievement.”
The Minister urged immediate systemic action, emphasizing that transparency and robust institutions are key to turning aspirations into concrete results.
“Let us build the systems today that make an integrated Africa not just a possibility, but an inevitability,” he said.
