Two regional ministers have announced the distribution of 450 free tickets to supporters of Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko ahead of the much-anticipated Super Clash slated for Sunday, February 15.

The donors, Greater Accra Regional Minister Linda Obenewa Akweley Ocloo and Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene, are offering the tickets to fans of both clubs.

Madam Akweley Ocloo pledged 250 tickets to Phobian fans, while Dr. Amoakohene is giving out 200 tickets to Porcupine Warriors, respectively.

In a passionate rallying call, she urged Accra supporters to stand firmly behind Hearts of Oak as they prepare for the biggest fixture in African club football.

“To our gallant players and technical team: The colors you wear represent the soul, resilience and history of this great city. Accra Hearts of Oak has always been the ‘Oak’ that stands firm against the storm.

“We believe in your skill, your spirit and your hunger for victory. Go out there, play with your hearts, and keep the points right here in the capital!” the Greater Accra Regional Minister said, accompanying the club’s motto, ‘Phooobia, Never Say Die until the bones are rotten.’

On the part of the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, who offered 200 tickets to Kotoko fans, the tickets will be distributed at Heroes Park on Sunday at 3 PM, with additional giveaways online before kick-off.

“I have provided 200 Popular Stand & Centre Line tickets to be given FREE to fans who arrive early at the gates on Sunday. Don’t miss out! 100 more will be given out to fans on the blue app,” he stated in an official Facebook post.

The gesture from both ministers adds excitement to the already electrifying atmosphere surrounding Ghana’s biggest league fixture, Super Clash, ensuring more fans can experience one of Africa’s greatest football rivalries.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will host Accra Hearts of Oak in the return leg of the Super Clash at Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The former won the first leg in 2025, played in Accra, 1-0.
