Founder and President of Worldwide Miracle Outreach (WMO), Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, has urged Ghanaians to focus on showing true love and godliness, rather than promiscuity, during celebrations of Valentine’s Day.

Speaking on the theme “Bringing Peace to Homes,” Dr. Tetteh explained that Valentine’s Day should not be reduced to sex, romance, or merely wearing red attire, but should serve as a time for individuals to reflect on their relationships.

“The occasion should be a time for married couples and families to reflect on their relationships, reconnect, deepen understanding, and strengthen their bonds,” he said at the Peace and Love Conference Dinner Awards held on Sunday, February 16, 2026.

Dr. Tetteh described marriage as God-ordained and a “miracle” sustained by understanding, discipline, and commitment. He encouraged couples to embrace what he described as a godly understanding of love rooted in faith, discipline, and mutual respect.

“Valentine is not just sex and romance. It is a time to reflect on your marriage and understand one another,” he emphasized.

Drawing motivation from his own experience of celebrating 36 years of marriage, Dr. Tetteh noted that lasting unions are not built on perfection but on dedication, mutual respect, and what he described as the “God factor.”

He further urged Ghanaians to adopt a godly approach to love for stronger families and a more stable society.
