The Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana (PAOG) has announced the immediate closure of arrangements for the 2026 Hajj.
The Office confirms the completion of all operational processes including payments, documentation, and passport submissions.
In a press release dated February 18, 2026, the PAOG emphasized that only prospective pilgrims who submitted all required documents within the stipulated timeframe were considered for visa processing.

The release highlighted the importance of early payment, medical screening, and timely passport submission to ensure a smooth Hajj process. It confirmed that medical screenings had already been completed in selected regions, with the remaining sessions scheduled for February 22 and 28 in the Ashanti and Greater Accra Regions.
“Lessons learned from this year’s operations will improve future Hajj arrangements,” the statement signed by Alhaji Mohammed Amin Lamptey Hussein, Director of Communications at PAOG, added.
The statement further reminded prospective pilgrims under special arrangements to submit their passports promptly and participate in medical screenings either in Kumasi or at the Hajj Village in Accra.
