One person is reportedly in critical condition, while more than 40 others, including police officers, sustained injuries after a swarm of bees attacked the Daavi Bless Police Station at Gomoa Amoanda Junction in the Gomoa East District.

According to reports, the bees suddenly attacked residents, police personnel, and individuals who were on duty at the station at the time of the incident.

Sources indicate that the swarm had been inside a faulty vehicle parked in front of the police station.

Angel News’ Opanin Darko told Naa Atswei on Orgasm News that the bees reportedly became aggressive and attacked people when the driver opened the car bonnet to inspect the engine.

According to him, some victims told him more than 50 people were attacked with a fowl killed in the process during the incident. A male victim, he added, explained that officers locked up the police station for over five hours while the bees spread across the area.

Narrating his ordeal, the victim revealed he was called from his house to help spray the area to drive the bees away, but he became trapped in the situation and was also stung.

Currently, the victims of the attack have been sent to the hospital for treatment, Mr. Darko carried out in his reportage.
