The Embassy of Ghana in Doha has urged all Ghanaians living in the State of Qatar to take active part in the emergency registration.
In a statement released on Monday, March 2, 2026, the Embassy urged all Ghanaians who have not registered to do so immediately, as part of ongoing emergency preparedness measures.
The statement disclosed that, the registration will enable the embassy to interact with residents in Qatar.
“In view of the heightened tensions and unrest within the region, this registration will enable the Embassy to effectively communicate with, assist and of necessary, coordinate evacuation arrangements for Ghanaian citizens,” the statement noted.
The statement informed that, all information provided will be treated with strict confidentiality and used solely for official emergency and consular purposes.
All Ghanaians in Qatar including students, workers, families and visitors are required to complete the registration from via a link provided.
The Embassy further assured its commitment to providing updates through official communication channels.
