Vice President Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, has hosted a delegation of Queen Mothers from Ga Mashie, led by the Paramount Queen Mother of Jamestown (Ngleshie Alata), Her Majesty Naa Afipong IV.

The discussion held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, focused on critical social issues in Jamestown, particularly education and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Her Majesty outlined plans for a mobile library project to promote after-school reading and literacy development, while also emphasizing the need to expand vocational skills training for young people.
Mrs. Naana Opoku Agyemang lauded the vital role of the Queen Mothers in community leadership, social advocacy, and grassroots development.
She also encouraged continued collaboration with relevant agencies to strengthen the proposed mobile library initiative and commended their commitment to empowering women economically.
