Media personality, Nana Ama McBrown, is tipping Ghanaian singer, Wendy Shay as the Artiste of the Year at this year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

Nana Ama praised Wendy Shay for her consistent work and dedication to her craft.

“I am tipping Wendy Shay for this year for TGMA for the artist of the year. This year you have done a great work,” she stated in an interview.

She also commended the singer for taking charge of her music career by producing her own songs.

“Not only this year, you have done well in your life, your career, and your journey to produce your own songs and crafts,” Nana Ama added.

Responding to the praise, Wendy Shay expressed her gratitude to Rufftown Records for the support and recognition she has received both in Ghana and beyond.

She shared this during a segment when she was asked, “Since you started taking control of your craft by managing and producing your own songs, who is helping you with management?”
