Reach out for guidance, support before departing Kuwait and Iraq – Ghana’s Embassy in Kuwait to nationals

Ghana’s Embassy in Kuwait has entreated Ghanaian nationals seeking to leave Kuwait and Iraq amidst the ongoing Middle East crisis to reach out to the Embassy for guidance and assistance.

The Embassy expressed its readiness to provide consular guidance and assistance, including support with visa procedures and preliminary logistical planning where necessary.

“Ghanaian nationals who may wish to evacuate from Kuwait or Iraq are advised that the Embassy stands ready to provide consular guidance and assistance, including support with visa procedures and preliminary logistical planning where necessary.

“Interested persons who are ready, willing, and able to travel by road via Saudi Arabia to secure a flight to Ghana or their destinations are encouraged to contact the Embassy to receive further information and coordination support through: +965 66 162 728/+965 51 502 793,” It said in a statement issued on March 10, 2026.

The statement further urged all Ghanaian nationals to remain calm, stay informed through official channels, and comply with the security advisories issued by local authorities and the Embassy.
