The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has saved a three 3-years old toddler who fell into a latrine at Asuogya, Nkawkaw on Monday, March 23, 2026.

In a GNFS report on social media dated Wednesday, March 25, 2026, the team received a call at 3:03 pm, prompting the immediate team to rescue.

The report noted that the team swiftly assessed the scene and extracted the child, preventing a tragic drowning.

According to GNFS, the child was rescued alive and rushed to the Holy Family Hospital for treatment for medical attention.

Eyewitnesses praised the firefighters for their quick response and dedication, noting that their intervention saved the child’s life.
