Eleven individuals have sustained injuries in an accident at Frimpongso Junction near Enyiresi on the Accra-Kumasi Highway.
The accident recorded on March 23, 2026, resulted from a head-on collision between a Toyota Camry and a Toyota Voxy.
Preliminary investigations suggest the Camry driver attempted an overtaking, leading to the collision with the oncoming vehicle.
The victims, including six males and five females, were transported to the Enyiresi Government Hospital, the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) reported.
According to the GNFS, both vehicles suffered significant damage.
