Puom Music, spearheaded by Ghanaian reggae/dancehall artiste Ras Kuuku, is set to host a vibrant Easter Monday pool party aimed at supporting the Ghetto Youth Connect Initiative.
The event scheduled for April 6, 2026, at Odjidja Royal Palace, is expected to bring together some of Ghana’s most notable music acts and emerging talents for a day of entertainment and community impact.
The pool party will feature performances and appearances from top artistes including Yaa Pono, Captan, Amerado, Obibini, Kofi Nti, Rap Fada, Kwesi Amewuga, AmakyeTheRapper, and Odkay Andy, among others.
Beyond the entertainment, the event is designed to spotlight the Ghetto Youth Connect Initiative, a movement focused on bridging the gap between grassroots talent and mainstream opportunities within the music and creative arts industry.
Led by Ras Kuuku, the initiative aims to empower young creatives from underserved communities by providing access to mentorship, industry networks, and exposure. It has already supported rising acts such as Pawez RTB, Big Vybz, El Jena, Kwaku Agartha, and Kwaku Wina, helping them showcase their talent and build professional connections.
Organisers say the event is more than just a social gathering, describing it as a platform for transformation and opportunity.
“This is more than just a pool party, it’s a movement. The Ghetto Youth Connect Initiative is about creating real opportunities for talents who come from the streets but have global potential. Through this event, we are bringing the industry closer to the youth,” a statement from the organisers noted.
The Easter Monday celebration is expected to attract music lovers, creatives, and key stakeholders across Ghana’s entertainment industry, all rallying behind a cause that promotes inclusion, talent development, and growth.
The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. and run until late, offering a full day of music, networking, and cultural exchange in the heart of Kwabenya.
