Ghana needs citizens with constitutional literacy – Celestine Addo
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The founder and leader of CA Foundation, Ms. Celestine Addo, has called on Ghanaians to prioritize constitutional literacy for national development.

Speaking at an event at the Accra Grammar School in Oyibi, she emphasized that understanding the constitution empowers citizens to participate in governance, protect their rights, and contribute to Ghana’s democratic growth.

Ms. Addo stressed the need to take constitutional literacy to every Ghanaian, noting it’s vital for civic responsibility and empowerment.

“We must ensure that every citizen, regardless of their circumstances, has access to knowledge about the laws that govern our nation,” she said.

She appealed for support to extend the CA Foundation’s outreach to prisons and markets, where constitutional education could transform lives.

Ms. Addo praised the students’ performance and teamwork, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in nurturing informed citizens.
